PHYSIOTHERAPIST - CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY

OrionHealth clinics are interdisciplinary teams of health care professionals (psychology, medicine, pharmacy, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, kinesiology, acupuncture, massage therapy, and chiropractic) offering evidence-based programs in chronic pain management, occupational rehabilitation, work conditioning and numerous acute services. OrionHealth has a contract opportunity for a Physiotherapist at the New Westminster clinic.
With an opportunity to expand our acute services, we are in search of a contractor with entrepreneurial spirit and an outgoing and creative streak to assist with marketing activities. In return, as we build this part of the business, we will provide competitive financial support and performance incentives.
The schedule for acute services is Monday through Thursday 3:00 – 7:00 p.m.
As a Physiotherapist with OrionHealth, you will be responsible for:
• Providing detailed physical assessments.
• Developing an individual physical therapy program for each client based on the client’s needs.
• Maintaining accurate and pertinent records of treatments and changes in the client.
• Liaise with external stakeholders as required to ensure appropriate communication of progress and obtain extensions to treatment as needed.
• Gathering and maintaining data throughout the service for research, statistics and participate in research, when applicable.
Qualifications:
• Licensed to practice in British Columbia or eligible for license
• Completed degree in Physical Therapy
