Senior Consultant Occupational Therapist

 

Wayne Enright is an original founder of Progressive Rehab and the past CEO of OrionHealth. Although he is still active as Board Chair for OrionHealth, Wayne still stays focused on his clinical practice of work capacity evaluations and cost of future care assessments. Over the past 25 years since originally obtaining his training in New Zealand, Wayne has practiced in acute care hospitals, orthopaedics, vocational rehabilitation, psychogeriatrics, adult and adolescent psychiatric units. He has always been a respected member of the industry and enjoyed teaching and mentoring. He is presently an instructor for the Functional Capacity Evaluation Certification Program (Roy Matheson & Associates).  Wayne is also an inspector/investigator for the College of Occupational Therapists of BC.

Qualifications & Memberships:

• Registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of BC

• Member of the BC Society of Occupational Therapists, Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists, and the World Federation of Occupational Therapists

• Graduate of the Central Institute of Technology, Wellington, New Zealand in Occupational Therapy

• Certified as an Advanced Work Capacity Evaluator (Roy Matheson and Associates Industrial Residency Program) and EPIC Lift Capacity Evaluator

• Completed training in Blankenship Functional Capacity and Isernhagen Work Systems

• Approved provider for WorkSafeBC FCEs and Community Occupational Therapy

• Qualified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia
