Eileen Cook, MA, CRC
Senior Vocational Rehab Consultant
Eileen Cook joined Progressive Rehab, in 1999 after gaining experience at BC Rehab and with the European Platform for Vocational Rehabilitation. Eileen has a Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling and has worked as a Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant for over 10 years. She has experience in working with individuals with a wide range of disabilities including brain injury, orthopaedic injuries, soft tissue injuries and mental health. She teaches vocational topics at the graduate, undergraduate and continuing education level for the University of British Columbia, the University of Calgary, Douglas College, Capilano College and the University College of the Fraser Valley. In addition, Eileen has served on the board of directors for CARP (Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professions. At Progressive, she acts as the director of vocational services.
Qualifications & Memberships:
• Masters Degree in Rehabilitation Counselling
• Member of CARP Canadian Association of Rehabilitation Professionals
• Certified Rehabilitation Counsellor (CRC)
• Approved provider for WorkSafeBC vocational services, Department of Veterans’ Affairs and The Ministry of Employment and Income Assistance
• Qualified as an expert witness in the Supreme Court of British Columbia
